Laura Moe, OTD, MOT, OTR/L

Dr. Laura Moe began her career as an occupational therapist in 2017, after graduating from the Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) program at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences (USAHS) San Marcos, CA campus. As a school-based practitioner, she has continued to expand her emphasis on multi-sensory learning approaches, sensory regulation programs, and Learning Without Tears handwriting and keyboarding programs for grade-level students.

In 2017, Dr. Moe joined the Occupational Therapy faculty team at USAHS, where she teaches in the foundational occupational therapy courses including Human Functions, Conditions, and Introduction to Occupational Therapy.

She received the USAHS Board Excellence Award – Student First – in 2022 for recognition of her commitment to the University values, with an emphasis on putting students first. Dr. Moe received her Doctor in Occupational Therapy in 2024. She is a Certified Trauma Professional (CTP) and prioritizes understanding how trauma can impact occupation.
