Dr. Marianne Hanover obtained her Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from San Diego State University and her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California. Dr. Hanover joined the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 2017. She became an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Board-certified Clinical Specialist in Pediatric Physical Therapy in 2019.

Dr. Hanover has 25 years of experience in early intervention and pediatric outpatient care. Her clinical experience includes working in settings associated with acute, orthopedic and skilled nursing facilities. As an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor, her research focuses on therapeutic interventions benefitting children with Spina Bifida and Down Syndrome with interprofessional education in Doctor of Physical Therapy programs.
