Dr. Mohamed Kamel is a physical therapist with 25 years of academic and clinical experience in the field. His background and training include pediatric physical therapy, geriatric physical therapy, home health, outpatient physical therapy, neurological rehabilitation and musculoskeletal physical therapy.

He earned his bachelor’s degree (1997) and master’s degree (2003) from Cairo University and has also completed courses toward a doctoral in physical therapy. He earned his doctorate in biomedical sciences from the University of Nottingham, UK.

Dr. Kamel is a licensed Physical Therapist in Egypt, the United Kingdom and in several states within the U.S. He is also certified in lifestyle and weight management from the American Council on Exercise.

Prior to joining the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 2023, Dr. Kamel was an associate professor at Cairo University. He has supervised post-graduate students during their thesis work and has been published internationally.
