Dr. Wendy Tremaine has been an occupational therapist for 35 years. Her primary practice area is pediatrics, and she has worked in various settings, including neonatal intensive care unit, acute care, outpatient rehabilitation, school-based practice and private practice. Her professional areas of expertise include sensory processing, the use of therapeutic listening with various client populations and oral-motor/feeding skill development with children.

Dr. Tremaine’s educational experiences include completing a fellowship at the Ayres Clinic in Los Angeles, CA and an internship at the U.S. Department of Education in the Office of Special Education Programs. Her professional accomplishments include serving on the Roster of Accreditation Evaluators and the Accreditation Council of Occupational Therapy Education, participating as an item writer for the American Occupational Therapy Association, authoring multiple textbook chapters and serving on various review committees for professional journals and grant proposals. 

Dr. Tremaine joined the University in January 2025.
