Step-by-step application to our DPT Program

1. Meet all admissions requirements.

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
GRE taken within the past 5 years (NOTE: Candidates who have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.6 or higher or previously earned a master’s degree are exempt from the GRE requirement.)
A minimum GPA of 3.0 on prerequisite courses is preferred

2. Gather the documents you need to apply.

Transcripts
Plan for completing pending prerequisites
Recommendations and observation hours required
Statement of purpose
Resume

3. Apply through PTCAS.

PT applicants must apply through the Common Application System

Create a profile, upload your documents, and respond to the essay prompt.

Then submit your application for verification:
PT: PTCAS. GRE code: 2209.

What Happens After You Submit Your Application?

Once PTCAS verifies your application, you will receive a confirmation that it has been received. Your application may not immediately move to the Admissions Committee for review.

A USAHS Enrollment Advisor will review your application to help ensure it is complete and identify opportunities to strengthen your submission before it moves forward for admissions review. If additional information or updates are needed, your Enrollment Advisor will contact you using the email address associated with your PTCAS profile.
