Physical Therapy Programs
Hybrid Online Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Programs
What are hybrid online DPT programs?
By combining online coursework with required in-person clinical training, hybrid DPT programs provide the academic rigor and hands-on experiences essential for physical therapy (PT) education.
At the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences (USAHS), our hybrid DPT programs allow students to pursue their Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree through flexible learning formats tailored to meet individual aspirations and lifestyles.

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
The DPT program emphasizes hands-on learning and outcome-focused preparation to develop skilled, forward-thinking physical therapists. Throughout the curriculum, students engage in immersive clinical experiences, advanced simulations using leading-edge technology and coursework that builds clinical expertise and professional confidence.
Electives and micro-credentials allow you to explore specialized areas of interest within physical therapy. Students apply their learning through community engagement, including Pro Bono Clinics and clinical partnerships. Guided by expert faculty, practicing clinicians who mentor students as future colleagues, graduates are prepared to make an immediate impact.
Offered through three distinct pathways designed to support different goals and schedules, the DPT program provides flexible options to help you pursue your degree. The program typically takes about 2.3 to 3 years to complete. Program designed to be completed in this time frame. Time to completion may vary by student, depending on individual progress, credits transferred and other factors.
Flex, Hybrid Immersion and Residential Comparison
At USAHS, we offer partially online physical therapy programs delivered by three dynamic pathways: Residential, Hybrid Immersion and Flex. Each pathway includes online and hands-on learning components and is designed to fit different lifestyles, allowing you to choose the option that best aligns with your needs.
From a more traditional, residential experience that includes both on-campus and online learning to more flexible online PT programs with select in-person labs, our modalities ensure comprehensive, hands-on training while maintaining the same curriculum and accreditation standards.
Each pathway is a full-time program that integrates real-world clinical rotations in diverse settings.
