Jonathan Metrick, MBA


Based in New York, NY, Jonathan Metrick is a Partner and Chief Growth Officer at Sagard, helping the world’s leading fintechs. Sagard is a multi-strategy alternative asset management firm committed to building a more sustainable future. With expertise in marketing, paid acquisition, SEO, attribution and recruitment, Metrick leads the firm’s global Go-To-Market practice and supports Sagard with branding, corporate communications and thought leadership.

Prior to joining Sagard, Metrick served as the Chief Marketing Officer of Policygenius, a leading online insurance marketplace in the United States. Metrick also served as Senior Vice President, Marketing at Hult International Business School. At Hult, he oversaw global marketing for the institution, which has campus locations including New York, London, Dubai and Shanghai. He has held marketing leadership positions working with Tiffany & Co, Live Nation Entertainment and Procter & Gamble, where he developed omni-channel strategies that integrated technology and marketing to build a cohesive customer experience.

In addition to his roles at Sagard, Metrick serves as the interim Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Growth Officer at Wealthsimple, an online investment management service whose mission is to provide affordable financial solutions.

Metrick is a board member of Choosing Therapy, an online publisher with more than a million monthly readers. With the goal of expanding access to mental healthcare and serving as a resource to help people find life-changing therapists, Choosing Therapy provides an online doctor consultation platform for multiple diseases and delivers medically-reviewed content related to mental health, emotional wellness, relationships, parenting and the therapy industry.

He has a Master of Business Administration with distinction from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University.
