Dr. Jen Featheringham is an occupational therapist, educator and researcher with a passion for quality and accessible higher education and rehabilitation services. Her areas of clinical expertise are in acute care practice, neurorehabilitation and critical care, where she has facilitated development of rehabilitation programming in the intensive care setting. Her research and academic interests are centered on clinical education, chronic disease management and public health.

Dr. Featheringham has an extensive background in clinical education, serving in clinical coordination, program development and interprofessional educator roles. Her teaching experience includes courses in neurorehabilitation, documentation, occupation and health, research, mental health practice, acute care practice and professional development.

Dr. Featheringham joined the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences on the Dallas, TX campus in 2024 as an Academic Fieldwork Coordinator and Instructor. She looks forward to supporting individuals in their transformation from students to colleagues who exemplify the core values of the occupational therapy profession.
